Risk Score

Why isn't my risk score showing?

The app needs at least 7 nights of sleep data in Apple Health to calculate a meaningful score. If you just started wearing an Apple Watch or recently enabled sleep tracking, give it a week and check back.

Also confirm that Apple Health permissions are enabled: Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → Sleep Again. Make sure HRV, heart rate, and sleep data are all toggled on.

What does the risk score mean?

The score is an estimate of how likely you are to wake up earlier than intended tonight, based on your HRV, resting heart rate, and recent sleep history. A high score doesn't guarantee you'll wake up, and a low score doesn't guarantee uninterrupted sleep. It's a pattern signal, not a prediction. Use it to notice trends over time, not to judge any single night.

Devices and Data

What devices does the app work with?

Sleep Again works with any device that writes to Apple Health. For the most accurate risk scores, an Apple Watch is recommended — it records HRV and detailed heart rate data automatically while you sleep.

If you don't have an Apple Watch, the app can use sleep data from other HealthKit-compatible wearables (Oura, Garmin, Whoop, etc.) or iPhone-based sleep tracking. HRV data will be limited without a wearable.

Does the app store my health data?

No. All processing happens on your device. HRV, heart rate, and sleep stage data are read from HealthKit locally and never uploaded to any server. See the Privacy Policy for full details.

Book Pass Redemption

How do I redeem my book pass?

When you buy the Sleep Again ebook + audiobook bundle, you receive an email with a QR code and a text code. Here's how to redeem it:

  1. Download Sleep Again from the App Store (free).
  2. Open the app. On the subscription screen, tap Redeem a pass.
  3. Scan the QR code from your purchase email, or tap Enter code manually and type the code.
  4. Your 3-month pass activates immediately.

You can also access Redeem a pass later via Settings inside the app.

I can't find my redemption email.

Check your spam or promotions folder for an email with the subject "Your 3-month Sleep Again pass." It's sent automatically after your purchase is confirmed. If you still can't find it, use the contact form with your order confirmation and I'll resend it.

My code says it's already been redeemed.

Each code is single-use and tied to one Apple ID. If you switched devices or Apple accounts, check the original device first. If you believe there's an error, use the contact form with your order details.

Subscription

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not by Sleep Again. To cancel:

  1. Open Settings on your iPhone.
  2. Tap your name at the top.
  3. Tap Subscriptions.
  4. Tap Sleep Again and then Cancel Subscription.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You keep access until then.

I was charged but the app shows I'm not subscribed.

Open the app and go to Settings → Restore Purchases. This syncs your purchase status with Apple. If the issue persists after restoring, use the contact form.
